Dr. Aprajit Sandilya

Urologist Dr. Aprajit Sandilya runs the Urovision Hospital in Dibrugarh, which is located in Jyoti Nagar opposite the Satsang Vihar Mandir. He specialises in Urology, Andrology and Endourology.

Dr. Sandilya did his schooling in Ajmer and Dehradun, and college in Shillong. He then completed his MBBS from Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh. Next he moved to Chandigarh, studying and training at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) for his MS in General Surgery and MCh in Urology.

Dr. Sandilya underwent one year of training in Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. He served as Registrar in Guwahati Medical College and then undertook further training in Urology at Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital in Nadiad, Gujarat. From 1992 onwards he worked at the Assam Medical College & Hospital (ACMH) in Dibrugarh. Dr. Aprajit Sandilya took voluntary retirement from AMCH in 2007, and set up the 50-bed Urovision Hospital. This hospital offers services in Urology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and all other allied specialisations.
